March 20th, 2025 Friday Sunny The whole city has been wrapped in the soft breath of spring these days. On my way to the bookstore this morning, I saw clusters of pink cherry blossoms blooming all over the street, and the warm wind blew the petals brushing my cheek, leaving a faint sweet smell. I spent the whole afternoon in the corner of the bookstore reading an original English novel about interstellar travel. The descriptions of the alien planet's fluorescent forests in the book are so fascinating that I even forgot the time until the shop assistant gently reminded me that it was closing time. On the way home, I dropped by the dessert shop near the community and bought a box of mango mousse that I have been craving for a long time. The sweet and cold taste of mango melted in my mouth the moment I took the first bite, and all the tiredness of the day disappeared in an instant. Tomorrow is the spring equinox, and the weather forecast says it will be a warm and breezy day. I have made an appointment with my friends to go camping in the suburban park. I can already imagine sitting on the picnic mat, eating the homemade sandwiches we prepared together, and looking at the kites flying high in the sky. Every ordinary little day is worth being recorded carefully. I will tuck today's joy into the bottom of my heart and wait for more small surprises tomorrow.
