The Little Prince
A pilot whose plane broke down lands in the Sahara Desert, where he meets the little prince from a tiny asteroid. The prince once tended a vain but beloved rose on his asteroid, and their quarrel made him leave to travel. He visited six asteroids, encountering absurd adults like a dictatorial king, a greedy businessman and a rigid geographer.
On Earth, he was sad to find a garden of roses, realizing his rose was not unique. Then he tamed a fox, who taught him, “One sees clearly only with the heart. What is essential is invisible to the eye”. The prince finally understood his rose was special because of the time he’d spent on her. Later, with a snake’s help, he left Earth to return to his asteroid and his beloved rose, leaving the pilot with precious memories and profound thoughts on love and responsibility.
