Siheyuan is a traditional Chinese residential building characterized by houses built around a courtyardenclosed in the centre. It is usually warm in winter and cool in summer, providing a comfortable livingenvironment , especially suitable for large families to live in. There are various types of siheyuan across China.but the most typical one is the Beijing siheyuan.
